have read nothing but this is ocmpletely not worth it. So many items have to be added and changed to commodate for the safety systems and auto braking, rewiring, etc. Tread carefully.

I have ACC and spent 6+ months searching just for this reason. It will be too much work and approx 6-8k$ of expense.

I ordered it .
I am GLAD I did.
It would NOT be something I would take on as a retro-fit.

Why?? You can’t overlook 1 detail doing this the right way.

ACC is the one option that I am so very thankful that I test drove for a couple of hundred miles before ordering our F15. It's great for 2 lane country roads, but if you are in heavy traffic or multi-lane traffic with folks changing lanes in front of you or passing you, the car is constantly slowing down which only encourages more people to go around you. In addition, every time the car slows down, the brake lights come on, so you look like a constant brake tapper.

Great idea, and works great on the basic concept, but needs adjustments to recognize vehicles that are increasing the gap after passing you.

Glad I saved the money.

yes and while you dont come with the option to use "normal" cruise control is crzy. Glad it can be coded at least. Still need to get on that! haha but yes the ACC on F15 drives me nuts. Not nearly as user friendly as my parents Grand Cherokee or even the toyota avalon rental i had driving up to pick up my F15.
