Spring Promotion: Velos Stage 2 ECU Tune via OBD2 for X5M/X6M

Dear Members,

Spring is here and we are launching our OBD2 Tuning Solution for the F85 X5M platform. We have been tuning these X5M’s via the ECU directly since their release and while those gains were the same it was not the solution everyone wanted to go with. Those of you who are familiar with our E70 X5M Tuning solution understand the process but now we have the ability to tune this via the OBD2 port. We will launch with special pricing for all forum members and then follow up with Spring Pricing for a limited time.

____
The F85 X5M & F86 X6m boast an amazing maximum output of 575HP at roughly 6200 rpm which is a 4% increase over the previous model. Peak torque is increased by roughly 10% giving this version roughly 70 lb ft of torque over the previous model. While BMW has done an amazing job with the vehicle and not to mention the new 8 speed transmission there was still some power left on the table and our engineering team has spent countless amount of hours in R&D to provide a reliable tune well within factory safety parameters.

With hundreds of the previous Generation E70 X5M’s tuned the excitement with this platform has gone through a few stages with the most recent allowing us to produce gains of 135 hp and 120 tq on the F85 platform. With changes to fuel, ignition, limiters and other parameters the results raise this SAV to a new level. All changes done well within factory specs this upgrade is a must for the enthusiasts looking to maximize their M without any compromise.

Gains: 135 HP & 120 tq

______

Launch: note – Vehicle has FI downpipes & Full Exhaust

Tuning Method: Velos OBD2 Personal Tuner

Retail $2250
Introductory Pricing: $1995

So this method is just by plugging it into the ob2 port and bam it's tuned ? Or is it just like any other piggy back where u have to connect it to other sensors in the car let me know how the installation works thanks

No, this is a full remap of the DME (commonly known as an ECU flash) where we read, edit and write to the vehicle through the OBD 2 port so the removal of the ECU is no longer needed. Not a piggyback.
