DTMF + JB4 - trying to track down my issue

Lately I've been getting a lot of DTMF errors after months of fun error-free driving on my JB4 harness. After removing it, and taking the X5 to the dealer for diagnosis, they could not replicate the DTMF error even though they said they saw it stored in the ECU & they sent me on my way.

As I sit and think through what could be causing this, my guess is its JB4 related and potentially with either my spark plugs needing gapped for the extra boost or perhaps I have a coilpack on its way out. I bought the mobile phone app and dongle for the JB4 so I can see codes on the fly, but have to wait til the end of the week to install it.

In short: Do I need to install gapped spark plugs to account for the new boost from JB4? and if so, what is the recommend gap size?

Thanks all!
