Honestly, i was going to pm you about how you are doing with you tune. I got my car brand new (2017) and i am in the middle between stage 1 and 2.The reason is 1st i have to upgrade the bigger brakes and 2nd is that i have extended warranty and maintenance program that include everything will be replaced for free.So not sure if i want to go with stage 2. Also , i dont have that chance to go and meet the guys at BPC so i will have to remotely do the procces of tuning. I wish i could so they can run the car and see if there is anything that might need adjustment. How you like yours so far ? Any suggestions you might want to share

Sorry, just saw this message, I don't know why i don't receive any notifications from classifieds section.

I'm liking mine a lot. I think it's underrated, the numbers BPC puts on their website are very conservative. The only thing is I'm hoping they will come out with OBD flash Stage 2 - this could be ideal for you too if you want to kinda stay on warranty below dealership radar. However, I've heard that even with OBD tune - it's still possible to know if DMEs were flashed or not. not sure if it's 100% true. Scarce data, can't get hold of anyone who knows for sure. To get most out of tune you need good fuel 93 octane (I only have access to 91 and difference is noticeable). If I'm not mistaken you need Downpipes for Stage 2 - this is my major concern as I don't want to have issues with emission. I also installed X5M engine air filters (they have 14% more through-output), but I'm not sure if stock X5 50i filters were bottlenecking engine on top rpms. Again no one there to really confirm this, but I did it anyway as they are plug-n-play and cost $100 for 2 filters. With Downpipes and Stage 2 tune - it's possible to extract a lot of power from n63tu - I think 600awhp is possible

I think i will go with stage one so i can save some money for bigger brakes . Here in Chicago gazoline is 93 octane so i will be happy with that i assume
Hope i can sell that piggyback soon

Piggyback is best for those who want to avoid warranty issues IMHO. If I was in a market for this - I would have jumped on this

How you like the race chip so far? Any specific reason you wanna swap to ECU tune? I'm in the market of either a piggyback or ECU tune.

Thanks!

I love it but i is ant to try ecu benchmark. It has more power lets put it this way. It is not that safe since the dme will be reflashed and bmw can catch that . If so you will lose you warranty. But that number 475whp is really stuck in my mind and messing around and i am tempted a lot. Also i am that kind of person that once i start cant stop i always want to upgrade

2 sets of wheels :
Winter set OEM x5M
M performance 21” wheels
Eibach springs
X 5 M style
X5M CF mirror
Cf front lip
M performance grill
X5 M side vents
Debadge
X5 M retrofitted knee pad
X5 M shift knobb
Muffler delete with x-pipe and black quad tips
So far

Next
Bpc flash
Rear diffuser with flaps
Rear door spoiler
Speakers will be upgraded too ( HK now )
MPBK
6wb cluster
X5 M shifters

And who know what else will blink in my mind lol

Vlado how do you like Eibach springs - do they reduce body roll noticeably or not really?
Sorry for off topic
