And several other occasions on short trips as well. There is no “waste of space” - the seats can be laid flat on the floor. As I said, YMMV. To me, it’s been incredibly useful.

Agreed, 3rd row is great for some of us. We use it all the time for transporting my kids and all their friends. If I didn't have it we'd be taking 2 cars everywhere.

This X5 is still a great build, as it's clear many don't want 3rd row.
