Brand of Tires That Recommended.
Dear friends!
I'm now in the market for brand new set of tires that give me the most quiet ride. I got the Pirelli that came with the car before, changed to Michelin Touring. They all making noise after 25,000 miles. Any other brand that you guys recommend? I have 19" wheels. Non staggered. Thanks all. |

Get a spare and go to non-run flat tires. That's the best way to eliminate noise and the harsh ride.

I had a set of 20" staggered Toyo Proxes STII on my previous E70. I ran them for close to 25,000 miles and they still had plenty of life left on them. These were NON RFT so I had a spare in the trunk. They were very quiet on the NYC roads.

Tire Noise
Could be the road surface your running on. I have Pirelli too and on smooth surfaces they are quiet but worn blacktop very noisy.

What is clear to me is that my Pirelli RFs are much more quiet - especially post 10K miles - than Bridgestones I had on previous X5s.

Considering how noisy my Pirelli RF's are, I can't imagine how noisy the Bridgestones must have been. I can't take the noise of my Pirelli's RF's any longer and I am going to try the Michelin LTX's NRF's.

That was exactly what I experienced when I first have them, came with stock. Then I switched to Michelin, it was a lot better when I first got them then now it becomes noisy again.
