Floormats

Looking for some ideas... I bought my F15 3 month ago, came across this floormat on my friends Mercedes yesterday(attached pictures), wondering if it will look good on my F15 , what do you guys think? or shall I consider WeatherTech instead?I don't like rubber mats though.
I'm from Seattle area , so there is lots of rain in the winter.

It hasn't snowed in Washington state in a few years at levels we want. I'll be fine lol

OP are you friends all Asians cause I only see Asians get those...

Personally I hate them because they're impossible to keep clean if you deal with a lot of road grime especially due to the salted roads in the winter.

is there any other option besides the basic velour mats, the plastic mats, or the m-performance textiles mats?

i saw the "premium velour" option but i don't understand why it has rubber trim around it for a "premium" mat and not sure if i like it judging by the stock photo alone. does anyone have these?

ha , the guy is an Asian, actually I'm Asian too, maybe that's why I like them lol

I agree with you that it looks hard to clean if there is lots of salted roads in the winter

I say before spending money on floor mats, invest in powered seats maybe? It is pretty sad that one has to get such floor mats to impress your friends because your seats are manual.
I have weathertech floor mats all throughout the vehicle. They are awesome and easy to clean. I definitely recommend them.

P.S. I am Asian.

I also use weathertech mat that is branded as BMW. It was actually from my E70 that I carried over to the F15 which seem to fit fine. The mat is very easy to clean and wipe off any snow or mud.

P.S. I'm also asian

typically people looking for "raw" vehicles for more performance or lighter weight opt for manual seats. the e46 m3 csl had manual seats from factory and had an msrp of $70k (and sadly never made available stateside), the porsche cayman gt4 has a starting sticker of $84k and manual seats. not sure what that mb is but perhaps the individual wanted the manual seats because of preference not poverty. (it is not an investment it is a purchase.)

You have a point there. There are options available to eliminate certain options in vehicles for weight reductions for sports car purists. If that was case for that MB owner, that type of floor mats should not have been the first choice of mats. LOL

P.S. I currently own an E92 M3. If I am paying over $70,000 for a vehicle, it better have power seats. My M3 was about $85,000 CND.

not disagreeing with you... just pointing out that it isn't something every wants but varies by application or objective. (for the record i too would prefer electric seats especially with memory functionality.)

Where did you purchase your Weathertech mats branded as BMW? This is what I'm looking for as I like the Weathertech mats, but not the glaring red Weathertech logo on them.
