I've already received production number and it is slated for the first week of production!!!

We paid a visit to the dealership and checked the 35i at hand that we ordered to make sure if all options we ordered on our 35d are keepers. This actually turned into an advantage for us as we were able to see an exact clone of our diesel free
So a quick observation for those interested:
- Surprisingly the Extended Mocha Nappa Leather package came with "leather dashboard"...it's funny as the dealer wasn't sure during our order if the leather dashboard is included or not...well it is...This is great news which means the 35d will have it as it is an identical build...
- We also checked the 3rd row and we were happy with it, so that option will stay.
Options which I didn't have on my 2014:
- ceramic controls looked amazing, specially with the leather dash...
- the rear entertainment systems were stunning. My kids will love'em.
- alums running boards help my kids get in the car easier.
- I can find piece with the 449 style wheels as they are grey and go well with our space grey paint.

Shaw what is your build week?
I have to say I'm disappointed mine is 3 months out. I suspect my dealer has allocation issues even though it's the largest in the state. My CA did also mention that there we others ahead of me waiting for diesels but I just wrote it off as a sales tactic. After the diesel delay debacle I'm just resigned to it being the story with the purchase of this vehicle.

They told me first week of production...but I'm not sure how I can verify that...
Note that I have been extremely patient with everything happening and the dealer's first diesel allocation was mine...that's probably why I'm in the first week...

One point I thought through after seeing the 35i:
With 3rd row, the rear seats lose their "comfort feature"...I was fine with that...but the important downside is that the rear seats DO NOT FOLD ANYMORE!!! Can someone with 3rd row verify this?
That's why we are now reconsidering the 3rd row...we used to carry some items in our 2014, by simply folding down the rear seats all the way down...seemed like we couldn't do it on this one with 3rd row. Is that correct?

I spoke to my dealer in Toronto on Monday and asked about diesel now that it is a go for January. They checked and told me if I placed an order now it would only get into production in May as they have a lot of back orders to do first. So I just stayed with my 35i order.

That totally makes no sense! It must be a mistake no way the 3rd row seats will not fold...

The rear seats do fold down. Not completely flat though. There's a slight incline.

I placed my order on November 9th and on December 3rd received a production number. I was told that my car will go in to production during the 3rd week of January. Here is my build;
