Gloss black plastic-dip
Has anyone tried the glossifier from plasti-dip?
I put my grills on today but I want to have the bottom portion a glossier black. All my trim is gloss black so that's why I didn't go with matte finish. |

Hi - I have been thinking the same thing. Every piece of trim is gloss black except the two lower front bumper grills. OH - and those two thin grills above and below the license plate.
Was thinking about asking Ben how much to paint them, or just finding a set and painting them myself and swapping. (Second option is probably the most probable) I can't remember if you have to remove the bumper to install them. One thing about the G05 is that everything is gloss black on the bumpers...which is good.

i've used plasti dip glossifier on my x5 emblem and front side reflectors. i sprayed 4-5 coats and it's not as glossy i hope it would have been.
also if you are looking to just use the glossifier it may not be as a glossy finish. reason being the glossifier is formulated to bond with the plasti dip coatings. |
