Anyone gotten the MyBMW app to interface with the F15?

Don't think it's entirely BMW's fault Here in Australia the network operators intend to shutdown 3G in 2024 the cost to replace the com boxes probably are not viable.
I would however like BMW to offer a solution to those who would be affected and let the owner make the decision to upgrade or not.
I am using Life360 or Find my phone more than the App to locate the car/driver.The cost to put a tracker eg Apple Air Tag in the vehicle is also becoming less.

I also think in future all remote services navigation etc will be outsourced to third parties. One has only to look at the Apple Digital Key where keys can get sent remotely and restricted services applied to inexperienced drivers

Thank you, this resolves/works for my 2015 X5. All remote functions are back and work, although it will only last to next January 3G shutdown.

As OP has experienced, My BMW app doesn't show gas level, mileage either for my 2015 X5 even with USB cable connected.

I also noticed a couple of more things:

1. Send to Car for navigation address from Google Map from browser/PC doesn't work anymore
2. In car iDrive/ConnectedDrive/BMW Online only has few apps (news, weather, office and setting), and no Add(+)/Remove (-) app function. For example, it doesn't have Find Gas Price app anymore.

Has anybody experienced the same?

I can't speak to the PC piece but my latest app update as of yesterday on iOS 14.6 does show fuel range and current mileage.

I do have the option to use the in-app navigation feature to send to the car as well.

Just my two cents.

Regarding the fuel level/range - do you connect via usb or via BT/WiFi?

Sharing locations from google maps works here as well, it's a brilliant function that stopped me (for now) from getting the MMI with CarPlay.

I'm just on WiFi/LTE checking the app on my phone at home while the car is sitting in the parking garage. Perhaps I'm misinterpreting your issue?

For everyone else having issues, I just got my car this week, used 2018. I have an iPhone 12 Pro.

1. Downloaded the iOS app, signed in with my bmw account.
2. Sat in my car, turned on engine
3. Click Add Vehicle (it asked for salutation before I could even get started)
4. Add VIN number
5. Followed instructions to get to the messages with the code
6. Waited a couple minutes for things to sync
7. Car didn't show up on the app so I close the app (had to do this twice)
8. App begin to update with the car, fuel, mileage.

Any vehicle with 3G services will loose all CD functions early next year

Yes, if I connect my phone to the USB it'll show me updated info 🤷🏽

No such luck here, pretty strange. I tried to connect via usb, launch connection assistant in a head unit - nothing.

I have a 2018 and the my BMW app works fine. I see the fuel level and status of the car fine. All wirelessly. I can send addresses to the car also without any issue.

The find gas app is under navigation settings not connected drive apps.

I exported Canadian BMW F15 to Europe but no luck having BMW to send me app activation message as eSIM doesnt work outside Canada/USA.

Anyone having same issue and has gotten things solved?

Not entirely true, eSIM is offered by Orange all over the Europe, as far as I know. Other operators offer it as well, for instance for all modern iPhones and Apple Watches

So I checked the app today and the newest revision now does update the fuel range whenever you plug your phone into the usb port! hopefully after the AT&T 3G sunset, I can still send directions to the vehicle from the app itself when its plugged into the car.
