2017 X5 (F15) Additional Headrest Monitors
Good Morning All,
I have a 2017 X5 (F15) with DVD capability through the iDrive system and displayed on the central dash display. I have just had the video in motion enabled to allow movies to play whilst driving. Am now looking in to a couple of headrest monitors for the back. Has anyone or can anyone tell me if it’s possible to ‘tap’ off the iDrive system/DVD player in someway so that I can just wire in 2 new monitors as opposed to having to install a complete separate DVD player system. Hope I’ve explained myself clearly, and thanks for any help and advice. Biggs |

Thanks a lot, have you done this in your X5? Where did you get the headrest mounts from?

You can use aftermarket mounts or you can get the OEM BMW like this one

Can run Netflix etc. I’m currently working out how I can connect up an Apple TV and Nintendo switch with a splitter for the kids |
