Interior Color for Mineral Silver Metallic F15?
Hey gang,
just put a deposit for a factory build 3.5i w/ Mineral Silver Metallic, and considering Terra Dakota vs Canberra Beige interior??? TD is very handsome (IMO), less prone to show surface marks, gives a darker interior look and will absorb more interior heat in summer parking lots. CB will show surface dirt/marks, much brighter interior, not as hot in GA summers All opinions welcome, thx.

I have the mineral silver ext with mocha interior. I think it is the perfect combo, and as others have said, the Mocha looks very luxurious. It is different enough from black to get noticed doesn't look orange...just a deep luxury brown. Like a really nice, comfortable leather sofa

.
I had Canberra Beige in my E70 and I liked it alot ... but I did use Black Mats (cocomats) ... the beige carpet did show some dirt, but held up well .. the pics below are at 131k miles I have Terra in my F15 and I love it ... I like the two tone Terra/Black with Black carpets (also did black cocomats) ... I understand why crackerjack15 would say basketball, but in real life it is MUCH more brown, not orangey at all ... more like a football While I did like the Mocha, I did not like the brown lower dash (lower dash is black on the Terra) . |

Not a fan of terra myself. I have the Napa ivory and after having had many of the Dakota leathers in the past, there is no comparison. The fact that the dash is also covered in leather really gives it a luxurious feel. I'd do the natural wood along with it.

No way I'll ever get a car with a beige interior unless it's a sports car with red or black exterior. Like, Ferrari.
