Ask your dealer to replace them. I would think if it's CPO they should have been able to spot this.

resurrecting this old post...
I've been doing a ton of searching, but can't find anything related to the actual removal of this particular door seal. I just purchased new ones to replace my torn seals on my MY2014 35i, but cannot figure out the best way to remove the seals from the door jamb. I tried a hair dryer to heat the adhesive, but didn't seem to work well enough. Any suggestions? |

Start from the top with a plastic pry tool. Lift it up and just pulling. To get rid of the adhesive, use the same pry tool to scrape it off. Should take no more than a few minutes to remove it. Installation I also started from the top. I peel away a little of the double-sided tape and I pressed it down bit by bit whilst removing the backing tape. Took me I think five minutes total.

If you look at alphaod's amended pic below...the top of the lower gasket gets tucked under the bottom of the upper gasket. Is this the "hook" you're referring to?

There is also a method to use dental floss to 'saw' through the adhesive similar to removing an emblem.
I used this method when replacing these seals rather than prying, once I got a big enough edge up from the bottom, I was then able to pull the seal off, as its actually made from plastic where it attaches to the door. |

That link shows "Note:This product is no longer available.". Has this been superseded and if so what part number should I be looking for and where? |
