I have over 17 000 km on my X5M , I don't have any issue except the clicking noise from steering , that seems normal ...

Sometimes squeaking form the brakes , nothing more ;-)

X5M. I'm wondering what to do if there ARE problems at the time of delivery. Seems like taking delivery then trying to blame the factory might be difficult at best?

I had a buzzing/rattle sound behind my left ear too; the noise was coming from the head liner. The dealer removed the grab handle and stuffed some sound deadening material in there. Sound is gone.

I didn't notice it until I left the dealership. Both were pretty small and insignificant enough for me to not notice during walkthrough. I did a courtesy delivery from my selling dealer (in Maryland) to the delivery dealer (SoCal). After I left to head back up to SF, I stopped for food and noticed both things.

Selling dealer just sent me the parts. Effortless in resolution and also me installing them.

My biggest gripe right now is the rattle/buzzing from the rear. I'm bringing it back in for service soon and know the local BMW rep. I will push for a resolution.

Added a qt of oil at 4,300 miles. Not really considered an issue, but should be noted.
