Got her back after a ton of maintenance and some repairs. Decided to clean her up and snap some quick iphone shots.

Nice, but looks excessively high, as if on stilettos. Would do with some lowering.

I absolutely agree. I would love to lower it but from what I’ve heard that all the spring choices compromise ride quality quite a bit. Also, the car is a 2014 so no adaptive suspension and no air in the rear. Unless anyone has suggestions for a good spring setup looks like I’ll be sitting high until I find a used set of kw v3s.

I wrote a fairly detailed post detailing my experience pre and post install of the Eibach Pro Kit (Non-Air Suspension version) which can be found here:

https://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=2023672

In my opinion, the ride quality has increased from the stock springs and I'm very pleased with the drop that I've experienced.

So close now on brake update, just waiting for paint shop which is taking way too long (jk) but I know it will look great when they done. Front/rear combo, Chris rear setup and all will be painted gold-meet-copper color… based on samples I picked. Rest is all here and ready for install.

- then I can add another pic with car to align with topic here…

destroy26 I appreciate the write up. I actually just drove in a friends x35d with the same springs you mentioned and the ride was smoother. However, I do suspect something else is going on in my suspension because it seemed like it was significantly smooth than my car with stock springs and new bilstein b4 shocks which I suspect shouldn't be the case. Either way I will definitely be getting these done in the near future, probably paired with the koni red fsd shocks when I refresh a few more things on the suspension.

New here. First BMW. Originally had the 21" 375 style wheel, but I went to a 20" 551 style.

Style 375 wheels are super heavy. I ran them for a bit on my E70 and the additional mass was quite noticeable

You will absolutely love the upgrade. I've only installed the fronts so far, but have acquired the full rear kit, and will be installing after the calipers go to powdercoat. Even just adding the fronts, I noticed a HUGE improvement in the braking performance.

What are you lowered on? Rear bags or springs? I wasn't going to do suspension, but still considering it...

Kw v3. No air suspension in the rear. You should, even if you do springs it’s well worth it looks & handling wise.

Yeah I don’t want to invest the money into the KW, but I’ll likely do the Eibach springs at some point.

Just finished my wife's 50i brake upgrade, tinted the front windows and gave her a wash. She doesn't look too bad.

I can't convince myself to upgrade to the G-series. IMO the F-series is the best balance of sporty and elegance.

I agree the G-series, depending model and color, looks very plain to me. Kinda like they just stamped it out and looks like everything else. But that's my opinion, what do I know...

Honestly now that my f15 is paid off, I'm waiting for the G05 to flood the used market more to upgrade. The f15 is great but the new tech and engine makes the upgrade worth it imo.
Now if future X cars are like what they just did with the 24 M5, then we have an issue...lol
