Previous service history...oil leaks

hey guys... I got my local dealer to show me the service history on our recently purchased 2018 X5 and it looks like last summer the oil sump gasket and rotary shaft seal were leaking and they replaced them both.

Are these common problems, and did I dodge a bullet by having them already fixed before purchasing it?

Thanks!

My 2014 50i sprung an upper oil pan gasket leak around 75k miles. I'd wished mine was changed before I bought it!
