Question About Sport+ Coding with Bimmercode
Hi guys,
So I'm new to the BMW coding/modifying world and need some quick help in regard to bimmercode on my 2015 X5 35i base line. I have managed to code the Sport Auto Transmission and it definitely works. However, I could not find the options necessary to code sport+ mode, which is needed to use launch control according to my research. I have contacted bimmercode and they say that the option to code sport+ is unavailable on my car, but there definitely is a 2015 X5 m-sport that has the sport+ option as I have test driven one before. Is there any way you guys could help me with this? I'd appreciate it a lot and I'm looking forward to becoming an active bimmerpost member! |

Tried several times without success to do Sport+ with BimmerCode. You have to use E-sys to code Sport+. But if you know the trick let me know, I finally gave up after I contacted BimmerCode and they told me the same thing.

BimmerCode is different from E-sys. BimmerCode is an app that uses Bluetooth connection via OBD connection. E-sys is much more advanced. Uses a laptop.

I know that, I said that I have purchased the enet cable necessary for the bm3 tune and will use it with esys to code my car with a laptop once I have tuned it. I originally thought esys would be too complicated and went with BimmerCode as it is an app and easy to use but have decided that esys is more configurable.

Was not sure you did. You definitely can code Sport+ with E-sys. There is a write up under one of the cheat sheets. But you can not code it with BimmerCode not advanced enough. I believe it is under the “BMW coding” thread.
I do not have the patience to use E-sys |
