Yes very happy I listened to Cat at IND. Everyone's X5M is used for different purposes. Mine is a daily driver and a toddler hauler. The ride with ACS isn't exactly stock in my opinion but good.

I didn't. The vehicle was on the lot. I'm trying to figure out a way to get them gloss black. For now, I'll consider them a beauty mark.

Yup, it looks great. I didn't even notice the aluminum rails in the pics... I just ordered the gloss front and side grilles, as well as sapphire black painted reflectors, from IND. Fantastic service from them, BTW, and the parts looks awesome. I'll throw them on this weekend (might do an install thread just for the hell of it) and potentially post some pics afterwards.
Personally, I wouldn't wrap the rails. I've done some wrapping myself with decent success but it looks like it would be a pain in the ### for the roof rails. I'm sure a shop could do a great job but I would also worry about it holding up. Then again, it's not super visible, so it might be worth the savings for a wrap versus the OEM parts and install (which I assume ain't cheap). |
