Option Discrepancies Between Dealer Order Sheet and BMW Build Tracker
Like many of you that are still anticipating the delivery of your X5, I've been (obsessively) tracking my order on BMW website. Once, the order was processed and my list of options were posted on the website, I realized it was different from the order sheet from the dealer. There were options that were missing on the website and options that I did not want added on the website. I spoke to the dealer and showed the GM the website, and he assure me that what's on the order sheet is what I'm going to get...which is what I want. So, I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping that I won't have to re-order.
Has this happened to anyone? Just curious. Z. |

No worries. All my past cars were not displayed 100% but came in correct.

Check your vin on bmwarchive.org, see what options show up there.
What's funny about the website too, if you ever go back and look at a car later on after you get it, what was right doesn't stay that way. All of my previous BMW's that I tracked were accurate when I ordered, accurate picture and all, but now show up different pictures, slightly wrong options.. Not that it matters, just odd. |

Waiting for mine. My BMW can't seem to find my VIN number but it comes out on the bmwarchiv.de/vin website with no problem. Anyone had this happen? I can't add the vehicle on my profile. I called BMW USA and customer service also can't see it. Car is due to arrive to me in one week.

Same with me, I have done 3 orders over the years, and they have never been fully correct. This last time I called my dealer and he was able to look at his system and confirm that everything was correct.

As long as you have the build sheet you will be fine. The tracker is just there to keep the overly obsessive buyers on the edge of their seat.
