X5 35d Ordered Today

I got a speeding ticket in the mail yesterday which snapped a nice pic of the technician out driving my car (bedding the brakes I imagine) after I had it serviced back in May. So decided to take a trip to BMW this morning to ask WTF.

As I am pulling off the highway, I see an auto-hauler with a stunningly beautiful (I'm not biased...) Carbon Black Metallic X5 with ///M Sport Line and 469m wheels...

Thinking to myself, "what are the odds..." So I followed it to the dealer and waited for it to be offloaded. It's my VIN! I have my pick-up appointment for Tuesday at 1000.

Welp, after 3.5 months, I took delivery today... A day early!

Here are a couple quick ones. I must say, the carbon black metallic with white leather is gorgeous. Both the exterior and interior will take work to keep clean and in good shape, but the way it looks is so worth it.

Awesome. Congrats. Wish you could get the 451 wheels with the M Line. Would be perfection.

Congrats! I ordered a MY17 X6 with MSport for the wife here in K-Town. September delivery! Hopefully it goes quick!

Congrats! Looking forward to seeing that mean machine rolling around on Kelley Barracks. I think you and I will be the only two with F15 M-sports (so far).

I really like both the 451s and 469m. I may look at 451s as well as I will need a winter set. We'll see.

Congrats! I ordered a MY17 X6 with MSport for the wife here in K-Town. September delivery! Hopefully it goes quick!

I thought about waiting till MY17 but I opted to go ahead and do it now and get the extra year of maintenance. Not sure if it makes much difference in the end, but maybe I will get an extra brake job out of it. Who knows... Best of luck with your X6. You (and your wife) are going to love it.
