Angry screwed up my door panel with rubbing alcohol - how to fix?

So I was cleaning the goop off the passenger door handle as it has been deteriorating over time due to the heat. Come to find out I was being too liberal with the rubbing alcohol and it started to drip down

I tried to catch it with the towel and clearly made things 100 times worse

I now ordered a new pull handle but my door is destroyed

I read online to use paints like SEMs or Duplicolor but I'm not sure if that will truly fix it or if I should take it to a pro to dye

Thanks

I'm kind of surprised rubbing alcohol did that but regardless I have had amazing results with this product from Eastman. As long as you prep the surface (which means basically clean it) this will amaze you.

You don't have to take the panel off. Just mask everything off and spray. The key is light coats and more is NOT better. Will bring that back to new looking

Me too, I was honestly shocked how fast it took it off. I knew I screwed up when I saw the microfiber towel turned black when I wiped it off

Thank you! Will give it a try
