My X5 50i X-Line (Mineral White w/ Black Dakota Leather) w/ 22" 310M Wheels

So, I finally got around to washing the car and taking pictures in nice weather. They were taken with my phone (Note 3 -13mp). I wish I had a better camera like atomic80 . So far so good. Loving how it looks and drives . Feel free to comment/ask any questions! Thanks!

Thanks. Yes, tinted with 18% Carbon Tint on front windows (we have this on all of our cars and it blends nicely).

Mineral White is metallic and has a very slight shiny off-white hue to it. You can see tiny rainbow specs of color in it; this can also be seen in paints like the Carbon Black. Alpine White is a purely solid white.

Beautiful car. Really like the color.

I still can't quite figure out how to upload my photos and yet you've seen to do it so easily. I need my wife. Lol.

Thanks man! So do I! Easiest way to upload pics:
1. Go to photobucket.com (I just signed up for free. It's probably the easiest way to upload pics I've come across)
2. Upload from Computer and browse to your pics on your computer. Hold Ctrl and click all the pics you want to upload.
3. Once uploaded, browse through each pic and you will see copy and paste links on the right. Choose the last one called "URL" (just click the full URL and it will automatically copy)
4. Open a thread reply here at bimmer post and simply right click and paste or press/hold Ctrl and press V to paste the URL.
5. All done! Preview your post too see how it looks and save/reply.

Updated Pictures. It was kind of a cloudy day. I do plan on finding a more scenic area when I take more pictures. I want to try capturing some night pictures soon as well. Enjoy .

Looks great Opasha! I would put some spacers in the rear wheels to get that staggered look!

Seeing yours and Ray's further comfirms that I do not yet need lowering with 22's.

M performance brake next to go with these 22 bad boys? =)

I might, however, order the 22x11 rear wheels for the staggered setup down the road when I see some major wear on them over time. I would have bought the staggered setup initially but it didn't occur to me back then. I'm still satisfied with the setup though .

As far as performance brakes are concerned, yes, I will definitely be upgrading in the near future. I have a few projects lined up in order though. My first is interior High Gloss Carbon Fiber steering wheel, shifter, and wood panel conversion. Second will be the 6WB cluster. Then we'll see whether it's C-Quartz Finest pain protection, brakes or an exterior wrap .

What is the 6WB cluster? Any pic? I am not too sure about paint protection as it does nothing against rock chips, and metallic paint is already stunning anyway. For the price I might go with invis shield. Definitely show me the carbon steering wheel!

I already bought wheels, reflectors, black grill, for the upcoming x5, modding is addictive haha. I wanna see how the car looks before buying the m brakes!

We've started discussing it in this thread: http://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...1021180&page=2. Scroll down to williamhmlui's pic of the retrofitment of the 6WB on his X5 F15. Apparently, wdimagineer has already done it to his. You can buy it from here: http://www.bimmer-tech.net/shop/bmw-...panel-retrofit.

Well, as far as paint protection, for me personally, it's to protect my car from every day grime and keep it cleaner since I normally just do touch free washes and hand clean/treat my wheels/tires. It's just a matter of convenience and giving the car a nice higher gloss look with a plus of the water-beading effect . I got a good price as well so I figured I'd look into it.

Mods are very addictive, indeed . I just changed my turn signal lights a week ago and am very happy with them. Essentially, this is the look I am going for for my Carbon Fiber conversion:

Where did you get the wheels? BMW's online configurator doesn't show them as an option. When I Google for them, I get the following ShopBMWUSA link: http://www.shopbmwusa.com/PRODUCT/38...SET/?Year=2013

They say 21" not 22".

Mine are 22" replicas from Wheel Plus. This is their ebay link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/22-BMW-X5-X6...b97ae2&vxp=mtr. This is the staggered setup for 22x10 front and 22x11 rear. I have the non-staggered setup 22x10 offset 40 on all 4 wheels with same tires size on all 4. Call them directly to get a wheel/tire combo deal. Ask for Diego. Tell him Omar with the BMW X5 that he sold similar wheel/tire combo to referred you. I paid $1628 total for everything. Shipping was included free. My tires are Delinte D8 DesertStorm - they're really good all-season non-runflat tires. There is no run-flat in 22". Let me know if you have any other questions .

WoW that 6WB looks amazing! However for me the brake/springs will have to come first to complete the entire look.

I will eventually retrofit that panel after the first project is complete lol..

X-Line

So if its a X-Line why are the wheel well aches not black? I am confused and getting ready to order. I like the X-Line front end and the running boards, you have the running boards but not the black arches???????????

Well I guess they are, looked at the pictures closer, black, looks great on the white and that's what I am ordering.

Thank you, buddy! Yeah, it really is a great deal. I did plenty of research also before buying replicas and this company is solid if anyone is considering buying from them. The ride quality/handling is great.

I hear you on the brakes. Initially, that was my first choice to change, but I wanted to wait till the prices dropped for the brakes. Then, these other ideas came along, lol. With the 5.0i, I definitely need better/stronger brakes. I know a lot of people were saying the M Performance brakes only add looks, but some others like @atomic80 said they actually do improve stopping power.

As @r33 told me, mods are addictive .

LOL, yeah, I was a little confused. I guess you can't tell unless you really look. That's why I think the trim looks great on my Mineral White. It makes the car look higher up/sportier with the X-Line trim.
