Thanks! - I've still got my F25 in Alpine White here - with the cars side-by-side the difference between the two colours is far greater than I expected, the MW is much more 'exotic' looking, really shows the bodies contours off!
One thing I would say is that there's a lot of variation in colour between the plastic and metal panels in particular the front wings. I'm hoping the variation reduces as the paint fully cures though I'm not holding my breath.

Brake dust is a problem with the standard pads fitted.

HUD is very good though seems slightly out of alignment (horizontally) if I place my head dead centre on the head restraint the left side of the HUD is obscured by the displays retaining frame for my left eye. If I lean my head an inch or two to the right then the display is fine - not very comfortable though! I have a squeak in the offside rear seat base which the dealer is going to look at tomorrow, I'll ask if there's anything the can do to adjust the HUD too. I seem to remember reading a post relating to this problem a little while ago, the theory posed there was that the HUD was designed for LHD cars and doesn't fit in RHD so well!

The wheels are not difficult to clean, they just seem to need doing every day. I know it'll probably be frowned upon by the 'expert car cleaners' out there though I use this on mine, a quick squirt, leave for a minute nad rinse off - the wheels are like new! Non-acidic / caustic, does a great job on baked on flies / bugs too! http://www.halfords.com/cycling/tool...-cleaner-5-ltr

See below...it seems that the wheels are painted then the front face is machined to expose the bare aluminum beneath.

Impressive MPG
Went on a business trip from Worcester to Manchester today and averaged >42mpg. This figure was recorded from 'door to door' including the time when the engine was cold. Average speed was relatively low though did included a lot of 'start-stop' on the motorway and in built up areas.

Footrest looks different (it should be a metal one with ///M logo). Not sure if that is country specific. Not a big deal anyways, but you can ask. Great looking car. If I knew that something could make that leather look less boring I would probably get it and apply something. CHeers.

42mpg is amazing on heavy SUV like X5, this means from SF to Tahoe round trip in less than 1 tank. Makes me rethink about the 50i order! :O
