Also, when you turn the DSC off, the vehicle automatically switches to Sport Mode based from my observation

I am unsure if this applies to F15 without MPPK

Good to hear. I took delivery on Dec 2nd so my software shouldn't be out to date. Hopefully, they'll get it done in an hour.

Yes, no one should be charged extra labor hours for the DME update (part of factory no maintenance warranty) prior to MPPK install

getbmwparts.com is selling for $995 free shipping and there is no sales tax...
Not to mention another $25 off with promo code CHEER25 for anything $500 over. So $970.00 out the door... I just saved you over a hundred dollars!

How reliable is getbmwparts.com? Are they truly genuine/OEM? I'm looking to buy both the MPPK and MPE after reading so many user reviews here, but want to be sure I'm safe with my purchase.

They are a BMW dealer located in Silver Springs, MD

And yes, they are OEM. If I were you I would check online and compare prices because getbmwparts.com isn't always the cheapest. Occasionally, they will have a summer promo with additional discounts on M performance parts.

Thanks man!

I just talked with my local dealership, and they quoted me the following:

- MPPK: $1080, $600 for labor
- MPE: $1190, $534 for the finishers, $400 for labor

This all seemed like a ripoff, especially after looking at getbmwparts, so wanted to make sure before proceeding.

Thanks for the confirmation, looks like I'll pull the trigger on getting the parts ordered soon

$600. for labor? Ya, that sounds like a big time dealer ripoff! I think the MPPK tech spec sheet says it should be something like a .25 hr. install time. You should ask the dealer about that. Also, any muffler shop can do the MPE install for $150-$225. It's a pretty straight forward cut, hang, and bolt job.

I just got mine installed by forum member. YES you can remote activate the kit. I bough mine on eBay from BMW Dealer ($865 shipped). You get red envelope with letter inside that contains Serial Number and Key, If you go to the dealer, they will general the FSC and will flash your car or you can do what I did and contact that forum member (PM me and I will give you his email), Buy $20 coding cable that you can use later if you want to code your car and have him code it for you for fraction of what the dealer wants. Takes about 30mins max. Oh not to mention you don't have to leave home
