This is the first set in the US. Frankly, it should stay that way. Overall, very disappointed in these. Just the ///M Performance logo illuminates - nothing else. A bit of a let down.
I'll install them when I get my truck back in a few days from routine service and take some more pictures then. Hoping there might also be a matching rear door set at some point, even if it doesn't illuminate, it'll help the front and back match.

Is it just me, or there's been to much ///Marketing from BMW lately and it's only getting worse from now on? Up to a point that it's getting into LEGO-style: "Buy main unit and then you can buy additional units to make your main unit more ///Mmmmmmmmm"
I know this sells, but come on... there has to be a limit to this |

J, can you post pictures of these installed if you're planning to do that? Also, could you fill us in on how to get a set? I'd be interested in getting a set too. I assume you have a set for all four door openings?

They only make them for the front doors.

super easy, 10 min each side. and you get a wood tool in the package to take the old plates out.

M Performance: http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/PERF...Bmw/ES2797749/ They come together in pairs so you only need to order one set. Your BMW dealer might be able to get them ordered too for cheap if you ask them with the part number, but sometimes they charge more for shipping, so I have found ECSTuning to be really competitive with pricing/shipping.

I am still waiting for my order.
My source said they will deliver some parts that I've ordered, so hopefully this would be one of the parts that's coming in.

Just FYI, ECS just emailed me to let me know that the ///M Performance sill set is backordered from Germany and could take 3-5 weeks to get. If anyone can get this sooner, let me know.

Ok, I called my local BMW parts dept, I can get the BMW M Performance LED sill cover strips for 173/$215 plus shipping. I imagine shipping to be $20 or so depending on the weight. (USPS). He said he can have them here by Friday.
The other ones won't be in stock until early to mid-January he said. |

You can also email Evan from GETBMWPARTS.com. His email is ewinstead@mileone.com. I wasn't sure about their shipping costs, but they gave me a quote of $240. Other options: $240 + shipping http://www.bmwpartsupply.com/OEMPart...472361166.html

Just got them in stock. 3 sets only.
I will keep one set for myself, unless someone desperately want it.

Nicely done, Ben . @paicapo's and yours look a lot whiter (one uniform color) than @wdimagineer's. His had a tint of blue for his "Performance" word so it didn't match well unless that was due to the fact he showed it in a very well lit room.
