469M Wheels - Tire Selection

I believe this has been asked and answered but I was not able to find the responses and figured others might inquire.....

Looking for all season run flats that fit the staggered setup that is required for these wheels.

Front: 275/40/20
Rear: 315/35/20

Thanks for the time in advance.

I think you may have a difficult time finding all season run flats for that size. I opted for the regular all season Continental DSW06.

I believe the thread for this discussion is on the next page or two.

I'm also looking for winter tyres for my spare alloys at this size but there only appears to be one supplier (Continentals) in the run flats?
Much better choice with non run flat tyres but don't have a spare wheel in the boot, so what alternatives do I have?

At this time no company makes an RFT all season in that size. Have to compromise either RFT, size, or type.

For non-RFT, emergency options include carrying a spare tire kit or a tire repair kit e.g. Slime.

+1 for non-RFT Conti DWS06. Couldn't be happier with the tire. For flats, I carry a small 12v compressor and a plug/patch kit.

Only supplier of winter run flats in those sizes I can find is Pirelli Scorpion, not Conti?

Chuffin expensive as well......£427 each for the 315 sizes, and £377 each for the 275 sizes......

BMW Mobility kit is about 100 quid from a dealer, buy one of those and fit non-RFT winters

This is why I bought a SE with all-seasons

I keep a can of tire repair handy so that if I get a minor flat then I can at least drive it to the nearest repair or tire store. If the tire blows then you're SOL. Call BMW roadside assistance.

I would NEVER recommend those Scorpion winters. I burned through the rears in only two seasons (they're at the treadbars). The two seasons amounted to approximately 30,xxx kms.

I would have said 30,***kms was quite a good wear rate
