What am I missing (part #)?

So I'm about a month into our CPO 2014 X5 .... it has factory towing electrical connections and what I believe is the crossbeam. Below are two pictures of whats on the car, and the third is what I believe is all I need (outlined in red) to have the 2" receiver. Right now I have nothing to tow but have a carrier I might want to use (or get a bike rack). If I tow something it would be nothing more than a single wave runner. Am I correct in thinking all I need is part number 82712349502?

Yes that is what you need. I have the Oem hitch on my x5. There is also another attachment you can get that handles up to 6000 lbs, but it has an integral 2" ball.

That should have been installed along with the wiring harness. It's a little box in the right rear of the trunk behind the access panel. I'll get you a picture of mine later today so you can see if you have it. Needed for towing.

I'm surprised your vehicle didn't come with the hitch attachment since it appears to be setup for towing. Might be worth a call to the dealer.

They told me the prior owner took the hitch and/or receiver with them to put on a new vehicle. Thanks for getting me a picture of the module, very much appreciate that.

Yes, I have that module too, so looks like all I'm missing is a Receiver and/or Ball attachment. Thanks so much for the picture and help!
