2016 F85 fog light behavior
I have a 2016 F85 with about 11,000 miles on it (daily driver). One night we were leaving a restaurant and when pulling out of the driveway, facing towards a glass wall/window, I noticed that one of the fog lights appeared to be out. I assumed the light was burnt out and I was annoyed. I tested the lights when I got home, and they both worked fine. I then realized that the fog light adjacent to the turn signal light seems to automatically illuminate when the turn signal in that direction is on. At least with our BMWs the entire headlight doesn't turn off when the blinker is on, like I see all the time on Audis and others, but it still looks bad to me, as if my car has a burnt out light on the other side. Has anyone else noticed this, and what are your thoughts on it? Can I have this "feature" disabled somehow?

That is normal.. part of the corning lights. You have two options, toggle the fog lights on just next to the lights switch.... it is a push button... or code the lights to always be off...

I never use my foglights - that feature is for better visibility for turning. Just move your steering wheel left to right, you will see them go on and off.
