Interested as well for comparison. I didnt keep the valvue. Thought it was pointless. But wanna hear the difference between the two.

Please let me know your review on it. I don't have a clip-in comfort yet, but it turns into a silent sleeper with a touch of a button.

From the inside, doesn't sound much different from mine. Not too loud but you can tell its a performance exhaust.

However, seems like you have a lot more gurggles than me which is definitely a plus. Maybe because you have a performance tune and intake? Can hear what sounds like your turbo spooling up which is nice.

Overall, from the cabin, the exhaust sounds great.

It sounds good. I agree with hop74, in the cabin they all kind of sound the same when you switch to a performance muffler. It's difficult to make the turbo car sound aggressive or loud. Truth is we'll never get that rumble compare to the v8. That's what I really wanted. I did a exhaust cutout to get it noticeably louder whenever I want. I do also have an aftermarket muffler on it already but it's just not easy to hear the difference from OEM. Maybe your super 10 is better choice, but it's hard to tell from inside of cabin.

Agreed.... no exhaust compares to the V8. So if thats what anyone is truly looking for, might wanna consider selling your car lol. But I think the point of this thread is that there are many options that are a much better bang for your buck that sound great rather than pouring over 1k into an MPE.

I'm very happy with the very minor drone, mild gurgles and pops, and deep idle tone... all at less than $500.

Also, since I decided to use the 40 series, I didnt use my Super 10. So I still have it and will gladly sell it to someone. Let me know before I throw it on ebay!

Yes, I have bm3 tune stage 1 but it's louder on the stock map. Also, No intake either just EWG sounds and turbo spooling.

I was going to ask if that was EWG or if you had a blowoff valve installed. Some very nice turbo sounds there. Have you checked your peak boost on BM3 stage 1 tune? Mine was around 18-19 max psi. Wakes the car up a TON!!!

Finally got around to do this. Its loudest with cold start obviously but still doesnt wake the neighbors. Dies down to a Nice low idle tone which is exactly what I was looking for and some aggression in the higher rpms. And some burbles of course.... and thats with no tune (yet). Overall, not crazy loud at all.

@Hop74 did you keep the electric valve for one side? Or remove it all together?

Sounds pretty good… was looking at the MPE, but may go this route with 4" round tips, since i don't have the trap outlet.

Will be sharing my exhaust setup soon.

-Flowmaster Super 44
-VRSF Catless Downpipe
-ECS Tuning Exhaust Cutout with Remote Valve

Going to install the muffler after the downpipe and the cutout/remote valve in the middle part of the exhaust.

I’ve thought about customizing an exhaust with a small muffler but was afraid it would be too loud. The last X5 I had I did a cat**ss dp and it was over the top
