mrs.dubsesd

Does anyone else here follow mrs.dubsesd on IG. I think she (assuming she) has such a clean X5...would love to figure out the KW suspension she has, it's the perfect height IMO. Not sure I could pull off the gold wheels but I think they look rad. The M side mirrors are also sweet, is that a hard mod?

I have the KW V3 on my X5, but I requested minimum lowering. The range on the KW’s is 0.6-1.8 rear, 1.0-2.2 front. I would estimate that her X5 is close to the full lowered end of the range @ 1.8r/2.2f based on what mine looks like.

The KW setup is awesome, handling is great. But it’s expensive, if you are only after stance there are less expensive options like H&R or Eibach. Lots of folks here are running the later two and can tell you about the ride.

Here’s what the KW’s look like with the minimum lowering:

Looks great, thanks! I currently have AC Schnitzer springs which are great but like the idea of going a little lower and they obviously don't adjust.

I have not considered but looks like a good option. I need to check what the AC's dropped me to and make sure this can get me a little lower. Guessing these should ride as nice as the AC's.

Thanks for the link.

If you want to go as low as possible, I would go with KW V3.
The H&R VTF is great, but not in favor to some.
If you go too low on VTF, ride quality is degrading too.
Unlike KW, the shock is matched to the spring at any ride height.

I hope that answer the question.

When it works. It's been a couple years since I've been notified for tags or when I've been quoted. I wish I knew why it doesn't work for me anymore.
