Autogeek Pressure Washer Foam Cannon HP + Chemical Guys Mr. Pink Super Suds Shampoo

I have been messing around with products, but this weekend I used my rotary polisher with the following products:

- Meguiar's Clay-Bar
- Optimum Compound II & Polish II
- CarPro Cquartz Ceramic Quartz

I did just purchase an orbital (dual-action) polisher and am going to try out Chemical Guys VSS Scratch and Swirl Remover. Supposedly it's a one step process instead of compound and polish separately.

I do like to buy a good amount of Meguiars products in the gallons and dilute with water (where necessary). Save's me some money on alwys buying individual bottles. I bought my own spray bottles:
- Meguiars D155 Last Touch Spray Detailer
- Meguiar’s D101 All Purpose Cleaner
- Meguiars D161 Silicone-Free Dressing
- Meguiars Quik Interior Detailer
- Meguiars D170 Hyper Dressing
- Meguiars D156 Synthetic X-press Spray Wax
- Meguiars D120 Glass Cleaner

Chemical Guys has a great leather cleaner, conditioner and leather protectant serum as well.

Probably provided to much info based on your question, but I figured I'd share most of the products I used. This is off the top of my head and doing some quick searches to find the products. I have more in my garage cabinets that I can't think of right now...

How is the Cquartz? Pretty easy to apple and remove?

Very easy to apply. Just make sure it's applied on a cool surface and in a well ventilated area. I usually apply 2 coats for more durability. You have to wait about 1-2 hours for first coat to dry before applying the 2nd coat.

I don't try to deliberately remove it, as I typically apply it once a year (Always around winter time to help with the salting, snow, etc.) I know it says one application can last two years, but as a daily driver and with the 4 season changes, IMO it barely lasts a year for me. I use the rejuvenation spray bottle they have around the summer time to help but sometimes I find myself re-applying anyway in summer since I might do another full compound+polish detail. This removes the CQuartz so a reapplication is needed.

Thanks! That's good information. In the past, these coatings were always advertised as only being able to be applied by professionals. But it seems that it's actually easy enough for regular Joes to use them as well. I was actually looking at NANOLEX SISHIELD CERAMIC COATING.

It's as simple as applying a small amount to the applicator and doing a small area at time, making sure it's properly covered (i do horizontal sweeps and then vertical - watched a YouTube video)

I think there are some coating products that are more superior to these "over-the-counter" coatings that the general public can get that only professional shops can purchase that may require a pro install. I've only used the CQuartz for the last three years that I learned about ceramic coatings, but it seems they're growing more popular.
