Here's my wish list for the new x5m:
-Raised hood
-DCT
-More exhaust sound/tone
-Better Seats (more support/sportier)
-A bit less gap between the wheels and arches (after market springs suck, kw is too expensive..)
-Headlights of the new x6..
-Paddles from the LCI M5.
that's it for now. Lets hear your wishlist now!
Wouldn't be surprised if this turned out to be pretty close to the actual product. Don't think we will be seeing new headlights, but one could wish. The rest seems like a pretty standard "M" treatment.

The more we talk about this the less I see the point in big 4x4 super cars.

Why not just buy a Porsche or an M6? Or even a normal X5 and an M4?

Probably super fast/powerful whatever but this thing just looks plain ugly. Whatever anyone says this is bad design pure and simple. No excuses.

Every time a an LCI or newer model is sneak previewed, it looks ugly. However, I feel like whenever the real deal comes out, it always looks way better than previous clips and images. We'll see, but I have faith that the 2015 X5M which actually look way better than anticipated.

It's one hell of a ride. It can be great in the winter, but not with the tires the car comes with. I have another SUV that I use in the winter, so I save a few grand by not buying a set of wheels and tires for the M just for winter. It's a special car @ 555bhp, its fun blasting past 911s and seeing their reaction.

How do you save a few grand by not having winter tires? I can only assume owing a secondary SUV for winter removes that savings with maintenance, insurance etc... Then again some people treat ///m cars like they are 1/4 million dollar super cars. Personally they should be driven.

Here's a non M in white with black rims I spotted at a dealer today for comparison:

Have to admit it looked pretty great from the front and that's not even with big wheels or m sport bumpers!

The green license plate means it can only be driven by the dealer temporarily (for testdrives etc)

Agree with this list. All M cars should have an exhaust tone that'll rip your had off from the factory like AMG does.

I agree with the exhaust note. I was in a parking lot today next to an ML63. That thing sounded mean as hell stock.

Made my Dinan exhaust X5M sound like a Prius. Man that was mean sound it made with the 6.3 liter.

I'm more interested in the type of suspension modifications it made and what tranny will be going in it.

I like the 6spd in the X5M but I have certainly driven better. Wouldn't it be amazing if they could put the DCT into this SUV.

As for driving my X5M in bad weather I certainly do. It rips and handles well in any circumstances.

What? X5M With akrapovic is loud and mean as hell on startup alone!

You need to do a prolonged top speed run to warm it up. It permanently changes the sound for the better
