2016/2017 X5 5.0 xDrive Pricing Advice
Hi,
I'm posting this for a friend who is looking to get an idea of what is a good price for either a 2016 or 2017 X5 5.0 xDrive. He has about 10% off for a 2016 MSRP ~82k and about 2% less for a 2017. What do you think he should be targeting for the two model years in terms of % off MSRP? Edmunds shows that there is a 2k offer for options towards leasing/financing. They also have 1k for BMW loyalty which he qualifies for and 1k for college grad. Can those three be combined? If so, should the target be invoice + ~500 - the three rebates? I am getting these numbers based on the price I got my 340 for, which could be completely diff for the X5. Thanks |

For 2016, I would target 10% off MSRP before tacking on all the incentives.
I bought my 2015 last summer at $79,450 with MSRP of $87,895. Invoice is around 93.6% of the MSRP so I got nearly 10% off without incentives.
