Because I have ordered X5 with 3rd row option, M suspension is not an option for me

I have 3rd row and got M adaptive suspension without problem ?

On the M Sport line, Adaptive M cannot be ordered with 3rd row.

If you have 3rd row and adaptive suspension, most likely you dont have an M Sport and what you have is actually Dynamic Damper Control + rear axle air suspension (2VM). While that is essentially the same as Adaptive M (2VF), its tuned more towards comfort whereas Adaptive M is tuned to be more sporty and stiffer, and is only available on M Sport.

Hmm, that is strange. I'm pretty sure I have the following:

M Sport package,
adaptive M suspension,
3rd row seat + real axle air suspension.

Just looked at the car's sticker page and the build report, it says S2VF.
This is confusing.

You guys are right.. there is an option for Adaptive M Suspension $900 even with 3rd row. It thought i couldn't add it because it had the exclamation sign in front of it... I will talk to my dealership to see if i can still add that.. hopefully i can without too much trouble.. Thanks for bringing this to my attention..

My bad, I read the pricing guide incorrectly. M-Sport+3rd Row+DHP is not allowed. M-Sport+3rd Row+AdaptiveM should be fine.

By all means you should add it if possible. It's worth it. Good luck!

My dealership was able to add Adaptive M Suspension for $900 to my order.. yayy!!

hey guys.. I called the 800 number this morning (1/12/14) and they told me that my X5 production has started as of this morning. The rep gave me the VIN number but when I log into bmwusa website and try to enter the last 7 of that VIN # it gives me an error "Unable to find requested vehicle".

I was able to see my X5 tracking info when i entered the production number however after logging out and logging back in later in the day, track my vehicle info has disappeared. I have tried using several browser but no tracking info.

has anyone experienced this?

Nice build. You're gonna love it. Mineral silver is underrated, I get lots of compliments. The painful part of the process is after it's built and waiting for the carrier and shipping time, even when one is only a few hours away.

After nearly seven months I finally got my X5 M Sport!

Thanks to ISSD at Park Lane London for the excellent service. It's a 30d Msport and I have just passed 2500km. Very happy so far and have just replaced the front grill and almost finished fitting a Blackvue 650. Will write up more later on my experience. A big thanks to the forum members for all their wisdom - it really helped a lot to get the specification and options right.

Just got my production number and VIN. Can't wait to pick this up. Thinking that first thing that should be done is the protection film and tinting the front windows. Has anyone done the prtection film? Also has anyone done the whole pick it up at the performance center in South Carolina? seems like it might be a fun trip. loving the possibility of doing the 6WB instrument cluster as a future mod. Glad to be a part of the community. Here are the specs on my order.
