Are you guys experiencing this also on highways in the X5M

I have a new M50d and it, as well as other regular F15 X5 owners have, have a tendency to kind of move from side to side and it needs constant small corrections to go totally straight. It feels like wind and road grooves affect it alot. Taking your hands of the wheel is not basically possible. Driving in ECOpro Mode or sport mode helps it a little, but comfort is horrible. As the cars are aerodynamically not very different, I wanted to ask if X5M owners experience the same kind of behaviour at higher speeds?

I haven't experienced this. Our vehicles come standard with non-runflat tires. I've noticed runflats usually have the tendency to do this.

Do you have runflats? If so that is the issue. My car (640 GC) also does this. It makes the car difficult to drive.

Yup run flats. The PSS's do not give off this type of road bite.

I experienced this on my trip from New York to Canada I made just about the same post with the same complaint lol when I cruise at highway speeds put it in sport mode then manual mode and put it in 8th gear helps handling a little while saving gas by leaving it in the highest gear

Yes, but they are winter tires meaning more sipes for better traction. This means they are biting into more surface imperfections than other tires might normally do.

I can confirm that it's not the tires, I had runflat dunlops before and now I have non runflat all season nitto tires, drives exactly the same, it does drive softer however with non runflats. it's the sensitivity of the electric steering that causes this, sport mode helps a little but not that much. X5M's have an option where they can configure the steering settings, wonder how it affects steering compared to regular F15's in just sport mode?
