Thanks!
I don't see any differences, automatic start/stop function and m steering wheel seem to be missing but that is probably just a typo. The only other difference is that the 2015's came with 6NH hands free bluetooth and the 2016's are coming with 6NP enhanced bluetooth. But the 2016 still has 6NS smartphone integration as an option, so it's probably just another typo or rewording. |

No problem. It still kills me that the M doesn't come with adaptive cruise control. Every other flagship car from the other manufacturers have it as an option at least (all AMG vehicles from MB and all S/RS line vehicles from Audi)

I know there was a reason for this but completely forgot, I questioned this when I was debating an m6. It's one of the reasons I went with an Alpina B6 instead of the M6. I will look through my emails to see if I can find what they told me.

One answer some salesman told me was to keep the car maximally aerodynamic which is BS. I saw a different user say something about lack of space on the steering wheel with the M buttons which might make more sense.

I heard the steering wheel space issue as an excuse, as well. My response was that they should have kept the cruise control on the stalk. I preferred the volume buttons on the left of the wheel, so when changing entertainment options with the iDrive, the hand holding the steering wheel could easily adjust the sound level. Putting the cruise control on the left of the wheel was a poorly thought out design, in my opinion.

I can somewhat understand their logic on the other M cars, but they should for sure have it on their SUV's as an option. My $45k grand cherokee summit came with ACC stop and go standard.
By the way after a year of ownership, I just figured out it was stop and go last week on a 6 hour road trip. Jeep could use some better marketing. |
