+1 for the red caps...a must IMO for BBS wheels.

Yup the red is here to stay. I tried to get the holy grail authentic BBS blue caps which only came on their Magnesium wheels in Japan but they are impossible to obtain. The black caps just makes the wheels look very understated while the colored caps makes them pop.

Recdog even though they are all season tires i don't plan to run them during the winter months. I will be rolling on the stock 469M with winter tires from Dec-March which is when pothole season is in full force here in NY.

I never thought I'd say I love a 22" wheel... But for some reason on the x5 it fit perfect.

Yep, the 21's are a nice change, but not as drastic as the 22. The wheel wells on these F15's are huge and need a 22 to fill them. We've all said it...spacers and/or 22's with custom offset.

I never knew there were blue ones! I'll have to try and get those if I ever get a set of BBS wheels again!

Yeah look super nice but impossible to get. BBS Japan has them on lock down unless you own a set of those Magnesium wheels. You can't even get fakes!

Honestly, I think red looks better on yours than those blue ones. You have those red trim up front and the red taillights. The red center caps just works with that setup.

FYI - Alan has the black chrome, not the standard black.

Alan I always love your cars, you OB E46 was a dream of mine back then! Great build, we are about to order a Mineral White Msport.

How do you like the PPK, does it make a dramatic difference? You may have stated it in your thread but I only looked at most of the pics lol

After digging through some of my old pics I decided to post some of them and their different stages of modding.

My Supercharged Orient Blue E46 323i 5MT (2000)

After my E46 I decided to try something new and wanted AWD because I was going to Vermont every weekend to snowboard with my friends. Great car for what it was but its no BMW. Its a Saab 92x which is basically a WRX wagon with a STi steering rack plus new front/rear end.

Saab 92x Aero Wagon (2005)

After being away from BMW for a few years I got back into this Alpine White LCI 335 Msport 6MT (2009)

First set of wheels
BBS LM reps

Second set of wheels
Rotiforms

Third and favorite set of wheels
BBS CX-R Anthracite

After the 335 we were expecting our first child so i got into my first F10 535xi Space Grey Msport (2013)

My second F10 - LCI 550i Space Grey Msport (2014)
I wrapped this one Satin pearl white myself. Took me over 40 hours to do but came out perfect.

So there you have it. A brief history of my past cars and why I do what i do to my cars

Alan
