F85 Tuning (DINAN vs DME)
Question... total newbie when it comes to "my new" the 2018 F85 X5M (60k miles).
When it comes to tuning, When I look at some YouTube videos, I keep hearing we can get the DINAN stage 1 tune which will give us around 700HP. The only DINAN tune that I can see online that's compatible seems to give about 50HP. DINANTRONICS X - 2012-2019 BMW M5/M6/X5M/X6M S63TU Engine (A) Part # D440-0133 Does their stage 1 require the free flow exhaust and CAI replacement to get to the 700HP? What's the general feeling about DME Tuning? With Black Friday deals coming up, thinking if I can get 20% or more off, that may be the best way to get 660HP? Thoughts, Suggestions? Experience, good or bad? Thanks guys, looking forward to reading more. Cheers. |

Your talking about comparing a flash tune to a piggyback. If you were to do a piggyback id suggest running a Racechip (as thats what Dinan is using that calibrated to their liking). Ecu flash tune there many options (DME, BMW, Carbahn, etc). Flash tune will yield better power gains
