Anyone used the plastic mud flaps?

Just curious if anyone has used the mud flaps for the X5. They look a little silly, but I'm sure they definitely help to keep stuff from flying on the sides.
On a side note, anyone purchased any parts from Alibaba?

I'm not a huge fan either, just looking for a way to keep the car clean for more than a day in the winter time lol

I saw a previous thread on this and I believe the consensus was it would leave a strange gap in the fender flare if used with M-Sport models.

Yeah I forgot to search the forum first, found the other threads.
After looking at the other threads the front ones don't seem to bad. Definitely wouldn't go with the rears.

Totally understandable. I guess that they can only help so much to keep a car clean, and never really found them that useful.

You don't think so? Another person in a different thread said that it reduced it.
