Changing Interior LED Lighting

Was looking into spicing things a bit, and changing the color of the stock interior LEDs to something else, more modern.

Saw this SMD LED replacement kit from ebay with a cooler blue hue. Not sure if anyone has tried it, or how cheesy or cheap it may look. For the price, it looks suspicious.

Rice rice baby. I wouldn’t do it. Maybe just replace the door lights and footwell lights since they are kinda yellowish stock.

Edit: To further clarify, I don't mean replacing with blue bulbs. I mean getting the 5000k replacements.

I bought them for the doors, footwells and trunk and they are much brighter and whiter. They also match the color of the LEDs in the door handles.

Please don't!!!! If you want first class LED's (and not eBay, Pep Boys or Walmart crap) look at V-LEDS. The 5K color is nice pure white. Save the blue for the Civic crowd.

I just saw these are from JDMtoy, I have ordered from them before. Took them 4 times to send me the correct stuff (they even made me take a picture of what they sent because they didn't believe me), quality was junk!

It is suspiciously low, however pics do look good. I guess you could try and return to stock if too "nerdy"!

What originally caught my interest was a picture of a new 2018 X5 e40 by nyc328ci, in http://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1445114. Third pic from top.

Don't know if it's light effect or what, but the interior lighting of this new X5 looks pretty nice.

My 1987 cavalier looked like that back in 98. I was so awesome.

Blue? Really? What are you like 15? .... my teenage daughter insisted on putting red in for her first car. Quickly realized what a pain it was when you are trying to actually use the lights to see/look at something. Leave the blue for the high school Honda Civic crowd.
