I started my career at Walt Disney Imagineering (hence my screen name) but the past 10 years I've been in IT executive leadership with various successful startups who have been acquired or IPO'd. The spoils from that finance my car hobbies and also help me invest in other startups. I'm 32.

International supply chain and logistics sales manager for the aerospace, manufacturing and automotive industry vertical. Yes, BMW in Spartanburg is a customer and last week I picked up ZF just down the road. Goodyear and Conti are two other auto accounts. My favorite part of the job is walking the assembly lines.

50 years old according to my passport, 30 in all other ways.
Married, 3 daughters. Ventilation consultant, own company. Been managing the ventilation package of NKS for 3 years now, 2 more years to go. NKS is a new hospital in Stockholm and will be the largest hospital in europe when ready, twice the size of the now biggest, Royal London. The single largest building project in europe at the moment. Working mainly with people from UK and US, so speaking english all the time is a good bonus. Love my job!

I design and implement processes that bring parts to assembly lines then take the finished goods to a distributor or end-user. I then manage the relationship for further development. For example, for nearly a year, BMW used our services to air freight every single transmission that goes in our cars. Yes, air freight - yikes. Frequently, we air freight the finished vehicle to different parts of the world for testing or quality check the car back in Germany. We also move new models and concept cars for them. And please don't ask - photos are strictly forbidden. Most of the time, we never see the vehicles since they are either in their own air containers or wrapped in plastic. If wrapped in plastic, we can at least see the interior and get to drive them to the plane, but that's it. The assembly lines are the coolest though - amazing. Occasionally, on Supplier Day, we get to do the driver's experience at the test track and ride in a 550 that's being drifted by a pro driver.

Surprising number of engineering / science types. Then again, we are all in a forum, so...

I run a product management / strategy group (as well as still write code) at a big enterprise software company...
