Man, that’s crazy…under hard acceleration I felt what I was pretty sure was a couple “faint” misfires. No codes. Then a few weeks later under hard acceleration it was “Oh yeah, definitely had a couple misfires there!” and I think check engine light came on and I had a couple misfire codes. Changed coils/plugs and has been fine last 40k miles. Crazy that your car was SHAKING from misfires and no codes. 😳

After the first drive, the computer showed the mechanic misfire on cylinder 1.5.Two injectors have been replaced.Unfortunately for me, the mechanic did not test the car.I returned home and the car still vibrates when accelerating.More shaking than vibration Like someone kicking a car.I returned to the mechanic. After another drive, the mechanic again saw misfire on cylinder 2 and 7 on the computer,.More injectors have been replaced. After talking to the mechanic, he said it was better, but not 100 percent better. He will do a test drive again.Everyone says to replace coils and plugs, but all misfires can probably be diagnosed using a computer?I haven't replaced the plugs and coils yet because they are relatively new, they have 15k miles.

You need a tech with diagnostics skills, not the parts canon you've been using. |

But my mechanic connects the computer and tries to fix what he sees What other mechanic will have different skills since everyone connects to a computer and sees what he sees. That's why I'm selling the car as soon as it's repaired I have no intention of struggling with this car any longer if I need to find a special mechanic with the skills.

Man, this thread is starting to confuse me and hurt my brain. 🤦*♂️
Does “misfires on cylinder 1.5” mean cylinder 1 and cylinder 5? Did you replace the engine 80k miles ago or 15k miles ago? What are the current codes? I’m honestly starting to think this is a troll post lol |

Spark plugs and a new engine have about 15k miles on them. The mechanic found a misfire on cylinders 1 and 5 and replaced the injectors After picking up the car, the problem still exists. After testing the car again, the mechanic found a misfire in the cylinder 2 and 7. He replaced two more injectors. After talking to the mechanic about the situation with the car, he says that there is improvement, but no, it is 100 percent repaired.
The mechanic continues to test the car. |

So, guys, I just talked to the mechanic.Cylinder 2 and 7 problem. Replaced injectors.Replacing the spark plug and coil. Reprogramming something Checking the pressure in the cylinders Everything seems correct and the car hiccups at speeds of 50 mph and above when accelerating. The mechanic contacted the BMW service center and they told him a few things. It's supposed to check fuel pressure and something else.Any ideas There is no air leakage.

Seems you have tried replacing parts. Have you changed the transfer case fluid and reset it? Our X6 went through new plugs, coils, software update, etc. with no resolution. I recently asked to change the fluid and have the transfer case reset and problem solved. I'm not saying that is your solution but while throwing money at "possible" solutions, why not try resetting the transfer case?

I disconnected the fuse from the transfer case to check if the problem would disappear when the car was only rear-wheel drive. The problem has not gone away. This was one of the ways to test the transfer case, at least that's what I read on the Internet. After replacing 4 injectors, the mechanic said it was better, but not completely. On Monday he will check the high pressure pump, fuel pump and something else.

You wouldn't have multiple injectors fail at the same time. Your mechanic replacing injectors and then saying its running better but still not good is him either imagining its running better, or telling you that so you don't think he wasted your money.
