Has anyone on the west coast placed an order for the new X5? Dealers in orange county are still telling me that they are not ready to take orders.

And along those lines, once dealers start taking orders how much of dealer discount can be expected of the MSRP (my configuration is about $70k MSRP)?

Like the 2014 5 series, black nappa is no longer an option. Bummer...

Nobody else probably cares but I'm bummed out that I can't get beige leatherette anymore. I have 2 kids and not a fan of dark interior, the beige leatherette is super durable and cleans up easily. It was great in my E70.

Hi civilojk,

Congrats! Excellent configuration.

Would you mind sharing some pricing details and also if you were able to get any discount (dealer discount etc.)?

Thanks.

I am in active army and BMW has military sales program that offers discount to active duty members. (I am in afghanistan now)

I have pre-ordered mine back in May so for that, they waived my delievery charge. Also, they offered about $4500 off of MSRP. My X5 35i was $49600 and with all the options, it came up to $60,000. Since I am stationed in Tennessee, they also offer no auto sales tax for active military which means I do not have to pay sales tax as well. I did comparison and it actually shows that I have saved about $10,000 with all discount and sales tax waived. Yes, it is really a good deal!

I'd consider placing an order if/when they open up the black napa leather as an option.

I am in the navy and looking to do the same thing. What program did you use? I'm looking at pentagon car sales. I've looked at a few different ones. The prices are all the same, so I guess I'm trying to find the one with the best customer service.

You're in the minority. The screen isn't about "nav" it's a gateway to controlling and interacting with most of the cars functions.

Have to get Convenience Package for that at $4540.

$70k for a very basic Cayenne S. Not saying the F15 is affordable, but also saying a Cayenne S is not as affordable as you think either.
A Cayenne S comparably equipped to a base level xDrive50i will be around $77K (including 4 years of maintenance), vs. $69K for the xDrive50i. While I really like the xDrive50i, it is dangerously close in price to a Cayenne S. My wife has a 2012 Cayenne V6, and it drives incredibly well. The interior is a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10.

Thanks for posting the 2014 X5 Price Guide. Anyone have the Residual Matrix for 2014 including the X5?
