205 is not compatible, so you have error. There is no FA fix. You would have to determine what FDL Code differences exists between 2TB and 205, and then FDL Code everything.

Thanks Shawn. My car did not come with the sports transmission. I coded it, but I changed computed, so I can't see my original setup any more. I have a 2016 35i xDrive xline...

Are you saying you added 2TB and now you are trying to remove it?

I presume 205 was never removed, rather you just added 2TB, so now only 2TB needs to be removed and car coded. If you don't remember,, decode VIN and see if 205 is present from factory.

So this is what i got for the dome lights:

Comment = H color value for discretely controlled two-color LED modules and two-color ILE

0 = Black (Off) 1 = White 2 = Reserved (White) 3 = Reserved (White) 4 = Reserved (White) 5 = Reserved (White) 6 = Red (Equivalent to Ambl1 for two-color modules = orange) 7-88 = H 89 = Green (corresponds to Ambl2 for two-color modules = white) 90-171 = H 172 = blue (Ambl3) 173-255 = H

And this is for the door and dashboard lights:

Comment = Parameters for Ambienet mode "RGB-Layering"

Encodes what color the corresponding layer displays when you select Ensamble while driving.

The color value H is scaled to 255.

0 = black (off)
1 = white
2 = Reserved (White)
3 = Reserved (white)
4 = Reserved (White)
5 = Reserved (White)
6 = red (Ambl1)
7-88 = H
89 = green (Ambl2)
90-171 = H
172 = blue (Ambl3)
173-255 = H


How do i translate this to a werte value for a certain color? (since it only works in hexadecimals)

DOME:

• inaktiv (inactive) = 00
• orange = 06
• weiss = 59

Door/Dash/Floor:

• pink = F7
• lila = CF
• violett = B6
• eff_dyn_blau = 95
• hellblau = 8C
• eisblau = 80
• tuerkis = 5B
• gruen = 55
• hellgruen = 3D
• gelb (Yellow) = 28
• orange = 0D
• hellrot = 07
• UNK_PARAM_0 = 06
• weiss = 02
• inaktiv (inactive) = 00

Not sure if they will still work.

Unfortunately upon coding with those parameters the lights will stay off (even several hours after BDC resets)

So those codes no longer work... any ideas?

When you coded before, did it take awhile before colors took affect? Mine was instant, but I know others with older hardware/firmware it can take some time.

They did appear 30 minutes afterwards, the process was letting the car sit for 30 minutes for it to go to sleep mode, and then the lights would be changed. I did the same this time and even waited overnight but nothing.

Has anything else changed? maybe im missing a code somewhere.

Mine would change immediately after power cycling. Not sure what else to try or what else changed.

right click on esys go to properties, under compatibility tab check the box where it says "override high DPI scaling behavior" and then choose scaling perfomed by system. It worked for me.
