Console Upholstery Repair Advice? ‘18 X3 30i
Hi All
Would you have any tips to repair this (see photo)? Whole scratch is about 4.5-5” long. Lasted almost three weeks without a scratch anywhere until the other half, may god rest their soul (jk), decided to just throw a piece of baggage into the front. Subsequently causing the damage. I believe that’s what caused it. It’s in that one spot a driver never looks...could have happened at the dealership and I wouldn’t know. Saw it today while giving a bath and only partner has been in the passenger seat since delivery. Would a dealer have any way to fix it? Warranty (doubtful)? It’s driving me nuts but at a minimum want to keep it from tearing further. Thanks for the insight! |

My wife had something similar fixed in her car. The dealer caused the damage when they had to remove part of the dash. They had someone come in to fix it and you can't tell at all where it was. The person did an amazing job.

I had Fibrenew do some repairs to the Sensatec in my '07 328 Touring. The results were invisible to my eyes, and the repair held until I traded the car 4 years later.
