2018 X5 Diesel M Sport
Hey everyone, just wanted to share some pics of my fathers new 2018 Carbon Black X5 xdrive35d M Sport. Huge thanks to Howard and Bill over at BMW of Bloomfield for taking care of us. Highly recommend them if you're interested in a new BMW.
Before getting any more miles on the car, we dropped it off with Phil over at DetailersDomain and words can't describe his attention to detail. Phil and Kevin set the car up right with a New Car Prep, PPF, and Full Nanolex Si3D HD ceramic coating. Along with the detail, they also installed Autotecknic Dual Slat M Grilles and Color Matched Front and Rear Markers from Ben r33_RGSport. The car looks amazing and couldn't ask for a better outcome. Now for some pics. |

Agreed he does! Thanks! Thanks! For sure. We are no stranger to diesel. My father had a 2016 Touareg TDI before this. He loved that car and it's MPG. If it wasn't for the dieselgate, he probably would've kept that car. But also if it wasn't for the dieselgate, he wouldn't have had a chance to get this X5 haha. |

Thanks! Been looking at the Racechip but will hold off for BM3 if/when it becomes available. Do you have the racechip on your 35d? |

Yes, the little s5 that tried to run today did not know what was tailing him, and how.. :-) so much fun, I drive in eco mode, 32mpg, and just kick shifter left. Boom, instant Accel where it was missing from about 55mph up. Uphill and in the Poconos today.

1 year later and still loving this car! The MPG the diesel gets is amazing. Can't go wrong with the 35D, has great power for this big car and gets great mileage.
Car came with the upgraded 469M wheels as shown in the photos, which are great but they are equipped with summers. Didn't get a chance to put on a set of dedicated winters on the car til now. Got an awesome deal on a set of 19" VMR V705 from a buddy who's a dealer. Threw on Blizzaks and on the car. Its crazy how small the wheels look on the car but hey its for winter so I could care less. Once warranty is up, looking at doing the ABC delete and ECU Tune but thats a long while from now.Anything I should be doing for PM on the diesels? Do people really wait for the 10k oil change interval from BMW? |
