I like the body style of the x6 more. However, as a few have already mentioned, the wheels and tire diameter are not proportional for the body, ie too small. The mb has a better design in that perspective. I think the tire diameter is more than one inch taller than the x6, which helps give it a sportier appearance in that particular aspect.

First I thought the GLE coupe will look amazing when it was camoed. But it came out ugly as hell.
The X6 beats the GLE in every way. Interior/Exterior/Performance. |

BMW are bringing out an X7 to compete with the Q7. Mercedes Benz has their GL which will become the GLS

That rear end is very Chrysler, smooth lines and blending curves. See the new Chrysler 200 as the latest example of that:

I actually like the look of both cars. Though their resemblance to each other uncanny.

completely agree, GLC exterior design looks sportier compare to X6, due to larger wheels, smaller hangovers and single sideline that make car look solid. I hate that three different side lines that make X6 side view overwhelming and separated, also I don't like BMW increased front hangover
X6 interior is way better though. |

seriously you can slap a Hyundai badge on the Merc ( on most Mercs should i say ) and noone would see the difference designwise... These cars are obviously too much oriented towards the eastern markets...

Imo the GLE is too tall and narrow, and the much higher shoulder line ruins its proportions even more compared to the X6. That alone makes it more of an eyesore, not to mention that horribly outdated interior. Try again Merc

Really GLE repeated in the new design X6. They are very similar in many details, only small differences in the lines of the windows of the third pillar.

As for second statement, Audi drastically shrinked its all-new Q7 to adapt to its previously smaller rivals (X5 and ML), so the Q7 still battles the X5. We know there will be an X7 to battle the future GLS, we can therefore assume that Audi could issue a Q9 in response at some point. Last edited by advantage20; 12-14-2014 at 06:54 AM.. |

looking at the videos i recall my statement the front looks good, its hideous. whats surprising is merc copies so many X6 cues, including shape of trims in the bumpers, shame would have loved they release something more original.
