I cant imagine BMW would spend time developing another set of winters for an outgoing vehicle - I would guess it is one in the same. Perhaps they release it annually with new pricing and TPMS should new developments arise for those type of parts (or perhaps different rubber).

often times the mfg will take a set of wheels that weren't offered in a region and start offering them as a new product. this may not be the case this time but it may be possible or it just may be a price change for new year.

The parts guys said they didn't have the part number(s) yet for the winter package. That and pricing is what he said would be released some time this week, possibly next. As soon as they call back I'll post the part numbers and cost.

He did say they were likely going with the same 20 inch 611M's with 285's all around from last year, but will know for sure when BMW posts the updated part numbers.

That's the link that had the 4 wheel set for ~$3500. Just got the part numbers and price from parts at the dealer, and they look to be the same part numbers as last year - so 611M 20's with 285 winters all around.

Fronts - 36112365424 ($963/$892/$883)
Rears - 36112365425 ($1014/$939/$929)

Pricing above is list/ECS/getbmwparts for each wheel/tire. List total is $3965.
