Side Vents - what finish to choose?

Just looking at different side vents for my AW x5 and I'm wondering what is the consensus on this (if any) in terms of finish: matte or gloss, without decals or with, X5 M or X-Drive, etc?

P.S. Almost forgot - there are basically $130+ ones and $30+ ones from ebay - I can't tell difference looking at pictures - is there any? I suspect they are all made from same batch lol but I may be wrong

Get the $30 ones, they are basically the same.. For the finish depends on what you have on your cars.

For example if you have shadowline trim and you are going to add the M performance grills, then you should go with gloss black!

I have done a lot of badgeless side vent. They looks nice.

I think no decal is cleaner and looks best, especially when you remove the side emblem. I went with Gloss Black to keep with my 'no chrome' theme and am pleased.

I went with the CF w/out emblem from Ben/RG Sport. I have the M performance CF parts (rear diffuser, front lip, mirror caps) so that's why I chose CF.
