New X6M Lease Help

Dealer reached out with an offer to pull me out of my '14 X6M for a '17. Rolled a chunk of negative equity into that deal and would appreciate advice on what I should be pushing for with a clean slate.

MSRP = $115,695
36 mos
20k / yr

Thanks!!

Suggest you speak with one or two leasing companies to get a sense of what a competitive deal looks like before going back to your dealer. I hear that BMW leases are less competitive this year as they lowered the residuals and eliminated MSDs, among other things. My 17 lease is $1,199 a month with about $2,000 upfront for a $117K car with 10K miles a year.

Right now we are at 8% off MSRP, first month and fees, and 20k/yr for $1,646 (including taxes of 7.75%).

The extra 5k in miles seems to be factored in at a pretty steep $0.30/mile which is more expensive than buying them later. 15k/yr gets me to $1,521.

Think I still have work to do on the price of the sale.

I think my sale price was 10% off. Check to see if you qualify for the corporate fleet discount and also if you can get an additional $1K off by participating in one of the BMW events that they regularly run for free. Also, check to see if you get additional discounts for having a BMW credit card (it gives 20% off school events, etc.)
